The Tabernacle Moves- Truckee, California; Lake Tahoe & Reno, Nevada
What is written below is from the pastor of River Rock church in Truckee, Pastor Eric, who God is using with us with these meetings. We have been blessed since Pastor Eric doesn't have his own building other pastors and friends have been offering their facilities for the meetings. God told me to come to the Truckee and Tahoe area and he has been providing what is necessary for the meetings. Last night Pastor Marty of Christ Life Church in Kings Beach offered his Friday service to us and we will be their again tonight. Many things happened as God had his way. It was very humbling to see what God was doing in peoples lives. One gentleman who is from Davis who is legally blind is starting to see more each day, just like the Lord said he would. because his pastor from Davis has been bringing 10 to 20 people at least two to three nights a week to the meetings and he has been one. Pastor Art, first started coming from Davis, while we were in the tent in Silver Springs NV at the New Hope Recovery Ranch where God is still moving in a mighty way. So many things are happening, that it would take to long to describe. Their also has been a pastor and his wife from Oregon who have been coming all week and God has turned them upside down for him. One woman on Wednesday at the Glenshire club house, who had a major operation on her foot, where they took the foot completely apart and put it back together again was prayed for. While she was sitting in His Glory, the Lord told her to get up and walk. She started walking and came up for more prayer. She was in a wheel chair and got up out of the wheel chair and felt no pain as she walked. She said that she knew that God had healed her.
The most important part of the meetings, is that His presence has been so strong, all you want to do is be with Him. It is all about the Word and the Spirit, and letting God be in control. It is not about any man it is about Jesus and Him only

I have good report for your. Simply read on.
For over a year I have been reviewing testimonies reported on the
Internet from meetings conducted by Pastor Joe Cicchino's in small
out of the way churches in California. According to the reports many
people have been saved, delivered from addictions and received inner
healing from deep emotional hurts.
As a pastor and a counselor these testimonies intrigued me. I know
that most Christians with severe emotional problems rarely go to the
kind of in-depth counseling that will permanently set them free.
Because of this, I have prayed for years that the Lord will give the
Body of Christ the gifts of the Spirit that would heal these
life-crippling problems.
Nancy and I now know from person experience that the testimonies I
read on the Internet are true. It is clear that in Joe's ministry
the word of knowledge and the word of wisdom works along with a
special anointing to heal the broken hearted (cp. Luke 4:18).
His meetings continue every night for months at the same church. For
example, he ministered for five and one half months in a church in
Tulare, California a small town south of Fresno. The reports from
those meetings were so amazing that people from different parts of
the world came to Tulare. Charisma Magazine wrote an article about
what God did there featuring a testimony about a woman who was born
blind, but was healed little by little.
After a while Pastor Peschke and I became curious about Pastor Joe's
ministry. We wanted to check him out, because in the past we had
gone to meetings that did not live up to the reports given over the
Internet. Pastor Peschke did not want to travel long distances
before his vacation in Texas, so on Friday June 24, my wife Nancy
and I decided to go to the meetings Joe was holding in Nevada.
On the way to the meeting we enjoyed the forests and lakes of the
Sierras on our way up and over Carson Pass south of Lake Tahoe. We
ended up driving over 200 miles before arriving in Silver Springs, a
small town in the high desert of Nevada about fifty miles northeast
of Carson City.
We were an hour late when we arrived at the small red and white tent
where Joe had been ministering for about six weeks. There were only
a few cars in the dusty parking lot. Trying to lessen any
disappointment, I said to Nancy, "Well at least we had a nice day
together. The worst thing that could happen is that we will pray for
a couple of hours then return to our motel room in Carson City."
Although Nancy had her doubts, but was not going to be denied. She
said to herself, "I didn't drive 200 mile to the middle of no where
to come back unchanged." She had taken a week off from work and was
determined to return to work different. She knew she needed get off
the prescription drugs she had gotten her doctor to give her seven
months before. These medications made her emotional challenges
worse. They negatively impacted her home life and job performance.
Our daughter Rachael was really turned off by the way the
medications made Nancy act.
I had prepared Nancy as well as I could for the meetings. From the
Internet knew Joe's meetings were different. Many times people
would just sit, lay or and quietly pray in the church in the
presence of God before Joe would speak or pray for them.
When Nancy and I entered the tent an hour late there were about
thirty people inside. No one greeted us, so we sat down on the
plastic chairs and prayed. There was no pulpit and no musicians --
only nice worship music playing in the background. Some people were
lying quietly on the carpeted floor of the tent.
I did not feel the presence of God in the tent, maybe because my
mind was distracted by all the hassle of finding the tent. I asked
God to have Joe preach so my mind would be free to receive something.
Nancy on the other hand, sensed that Jesus was in front of her
clothed in a gold and purple rob. He was reaching out to her asking
her to let go of something she was holding onto.
About an hour after we arrived Joe got up and shared a brief but
insightful message. He was dressed causally and no one introduced
him. After sharing he asked people who wanted prayer to come
forward. Quietly he ministered to them and they all fell backwards
under the power of the Holy Spirit.
I watched and continued to pray. Soon Joe invited me to receive
prayer. I told him, "I am not going to fall down, because I can
yield to the Spirit easily and fall down" (I could tell by his email
messages that I could be honest with him). When he prayed for me I
felt the Holy Spirit move through my spirit like a soft wave of
electricity. This convinced Joe had a strong anointing. In thirty
years of being a Christian I had never experienced anything that
strong when someone prayed for me. I staggered around like a happy
drunk.
Later in the meeting this thought came up from deep inside me, "I
hate my father." I did not expect that. I went to Joe and told him
what happened. I asked him, "Is this for me or Nancy?" He quickly
answered, " For you." He led me in a prayer of forgiveness; laid
hands on me and down I went "slain" by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Consciously I had forgiven my father, but now I am free from this
hidden hatred.
When Joe prayed for Nancy and I as a couple he had us put our heads
together. He told us that from that time on would share each other's
spiritual gifts. Things got really exciting when he ministered to
Nancy individually. She told Joe, "I am not going to fall down,
because I am tired of falling down and getting up the same." Joe
patiently listened and through the gift of the word of knowledge
began to "read her mail", telling her things about her life Nancy
and I knew were true. The Holy Spirit then healed her deep inside.
After Nancy sat down Rick and Teresa the directors of New Hope
Recovery Ranch ministered to Nancy (They invited Joe to come to
Silver Springs). Nancy told Rick him about her prescription drug
problem and explained that she wanted to quit taking them, but was
scared she couldn't. Rick and Teresa agreed that she needed to get
off of them. After they prayed for Nancy and cast a spirit of fear
off her, Nancy was ready to stop taking the drugs.
Nancy received more healing as the night progressed. Now she had
the strength to begin detoxing. She quit the "meds" and coffee cold
turkey. (We did not know at the time that it was not advisable to go
off all the medications at one time).
The first three days were hellish for Nancy. Teresa Rick's wife (who
was on prescription medication for thirty years) told Nancy that the
third day of detoxing would be the worse. This was absolutely true.
On Sunday, Nancy had diarrhea, a severe headache and was throwing
up. She was getting dehydrated. This problem was solved when she
took a tablespoon of water with electrolytes every ten to fifteen
minutes.
It is now over three weeks after Nancy's initial encounter with God
in the tent in Silver Springs, Nevada. The real Nancy has returned.
She is a joy to be around. Her sleep pattern has returned to normal.
She has more energy than ever. I have a new wife and therefore a
better life!
She is free from coffee and all the medications. She refuses to use
her ephedra-laced energy drinks and pills. The left side of her back
is pain free. She does not use Vicadin any more. We praise God for
His love, mercy and goodness!
After witnessing the life changing power of the gifts and anointing
God has given to Pastor Cicchino, I wanted my whole church in Davis,
California to go to his meetings. Pastor Peschke told me to check
Joe out more, so I confirmed that he was an ordained minister in a
well-known ministerial organization in Tulsa Oklahoma. I also had a
long conversation with the wife of the pastor of an Assembly of God
church in California where Joe ministered for ten weeks. The
pastor's wife told me that not one word of knowledge he gave to
people in their church was incorrect. She also said he was very
respectful guest in her home.
Once Pastor and I were convinced Joe was solid, about seventeen
people from our church attended two of Joe's meetings. Almost
everyone received deep inner healing and was filled with joy. Two
adults, two young teenagers and one young man in his early twenties
accepted Jesus into their hearts.
The word of knowledge that moves through Joe is very powerful. He
told one lady that she needed to forgive those in her family that
hurt her. As Joe said that, she thought, "Nothing like that happened
to me. My parents were both Christians. I had a great childhood".
Despite her doubts, she did not totally reject what Joe said. Even
though that night she did not "feel anything," the next day in Davis
the Holy Spirit brought to her attention a childhood "problem" with
a relative that her mind had repressed. After letting that go she
was "hit" by holy laughter.
When Joe ministered to my friend Bill he told him to let go of the
abuse he had suffered as a child. As Joe said that, Bill thought to
himself, "I wasn't abused. I had a great childhood". Then Bill felt
an invisible hand grab something deep down inside of his belly.
A few days later Bill received a fuller manifestation of the
deliverance and healing that began when Joe ministered to him. Bill
realized that he and his extended family had been damaged by a
generational curse. This curse caused Bill's grandmother and mother
to die in their early forties. There have also been deaths of
newborn babies and/or miscarriages in his mother, his sister, his
daughters and in both his brother's wives.
Joe told a x drug user to forgive her parents and the priest. After
the incident with the priest she never attended any church again.
Now she is free. How do we know? Three days later she attended our
church and told everyone what God did for her in Nevada.
Joe told Trish to "let the rope go." She knew this meant she had to
let go of her emotional attachments to her friends who had died.
Trish knows the Lord healed he inside, because last week she did not
overreact when she found out about another friend who died in a car
wreck on July 3.
Dee received a lot of healing in the tent in Nevada. Her childhood
was very dysfunctional and abusive. To cover and compensate for the
pain she took methamphetamine for twenty-six years. Her journey to
inner freedom continues. Last week she became so hurt, jealous and
angry at someone at church she threatened not to come any more. As
she confessed forgiveness and received loving prayer, she wept like
a baby and let more pain and guilt go.
Joe told Willis, a blind man in our church, "You are an honest man.
You can believe that God will heal you little by little." This was
almost word for word what Willis told us at church a year ago.
Willis reports that his sight is slowly improving.
Our church in Davis is experiencing the blessings of a corporate
impartation Joe released on us as a group. Our Sunday morning
services have been filled with more of the Lord's manifested
presence. Inner healing continues.
It is glorious how God supernaturally heals long repressed hurts in
Joe's ministry. People testified for one and one half-hours on one
Sunday night about what God did for them at the meetings in Nevada.

We are too busy analyzing everything. We are living in the flesh and not in the spirit. Are you really doing His will, or trying to show people who we are instead of being who we should be. Trying to impress others by our accomplishments and wisdom. I Cor. 2:1, 1:19 “When I first came to you I didn’t use lofty words and brilliant ideas to tell you God’s message. For I decided to concentrate only on Jesus Christ and his death on the cross. I came to you in weakness, timid and trembling. And my message and my preaching were very plain. I did not use wise and persuasive speeches, but the Holy Spirit was powerful among you. I did this so that you might trust the power of God rather than human wisdom. Yet when I am among mature Christians, I do speak with words of wisdom, but not the kind of wisdom that belongs to this world, and not the kind that appeals to the rulers of this world, who are being brought to nothing. No the wisdom we speak of is the secret wisdom of God, which was hidden in former times, though he made it for our benefit before the world began. But the rulers of this world never have understood it, if they had, they would never have crucified our glorious Lord. I Cor. 2:9-“No eye has seen, nor ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him. But we know these things because God has revealed them to us by His Spirit and His Spirit searches out everything and shows us even God’s deep secrets.” We can’t figure out God in our natural mind. We wont know what he has for us by following the flesh. The spirit of God has nothing to do with human wisdom, schooling, bible school etc. I Cor. 1:25-27 Instead God deliberately chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And he chose those who are powerless to shame those who are powerful. God chose things despised by the world; things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important so that no one can ever boast in the presence of God. God alone made it possible for you to be in Christ Jesus for our benefit God made Christ to be wisdom itself. Gods foolishness is greater that the wisest person in the world. God choose things man would consider foolish. You can have the greatest plan and know how your are going to do things but are they His plans. Are we using human wisdom or is God in control. He frowns at human wisdom. Pastors are burned out because they are doing it themselves. Doing it in their own strength. I. Cor. 3:18-21 “Stop fooling yourselves. If you think you are wise by this worlds standards, you will have to become a fool so you can become wise by Gods standards. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. God catches those who think they are wise in their own cleverness and the Lord knows the thought of the wise that they are worthless. So don’t take pride in a particular leader, everything belongs to you and you belong to Christ and Christ belongs to God.” I Cor. 2:10-13”But we know these things because God has revealed them to us by his spirit and his Spirit searches out everything and shows us even Gods deep secrets. No one can know what anyone else is really thinking except that person alone, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit. Paul spent all his energy and time forgetting his past so God could work through him. The Holy Spirit walks in boldness and has confidence. He gives us the fruit of the spirit. This is why people pray for others for healing and nothing happens. When we walk in the Spirit we have the power. Gal. 2:19 “ I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ. I myself no longer live, but Christ lives in me. So I live my life in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God who loved me an gave himself for me.” The flesh was torn down on the cross. If I restore the flesh and walk in it I am defeated. When I, I, I try do it I am defeated. Die to the law and live for God. Woman have a hard time with this because they keep looking in the mirror but your flesh is dead. The body isn’t made in the image of God its our Spirit that is made in His image. That’s why there is neither male nor female in the Spirit. If we could be saved in the human body Christ would not have had to die. Heres where it hurts. The flesh and the Spirit are always fighting. Gal 5:16”So I advise you to live according to your new life in the Holy Spirit. Then you wont be doing what your sinful nature craves. The old sinful nature loves to do evil; whish is just opposite from what the Holy Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are opposite from what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other and your choices are never free from this conflict. But when you are directed by the Holy Spirit you are no longer subject to the law.” /v, 22 “When the Holy spirit controls our lives he will produce this kind of fruit in us, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” The Jew of the OT is all flesh-law. Jesus is of the Spirit – love. When the Holy Spirit controls our lives he produces the fruit of the spirit. The blessings come from being submissive, repentive, obedient, loving. The real thing means we have to look at our self and change. Let go of people. Die to self and let go of who we are or is it too hard. God is expecting us to only look at ourselves not what others are doing. Are we putting our own comforts and concerns first? Are you giving him all or just the parts of your life that you want to give him and what is comfortable? We need to let God change us. We need to walk in the Spirit and not the dead flesh.

We are too busy analyzing everything. We are living in the flesh and not in the spirit. Are you really doing His will, or trying to show people who we are instead of being who we should be. Trying to impress others by our accomplishments and wisdom. I Cor. 2:1, 1:19 “When I first came to you I didn’t use lofty words and brilliant ideas to tell you God’s message. The tent comes down in Silver Springs, Nevada
We will be leaving the New hope recovery ranch for now, because the tent has to come down. The owners of the tent surprised us on Wednesday and said that they need to use their tent for Vacation Bible School. So tonight will be our last night in Silver Springs. The power of God has been moving in a mighty way. Many restorations, healing and just more of God. No one wants to leave once they come. It has started off as when you come you don't understand what is happening. Then when you let go and let God be real to you. It's all about being in His presence. The tears come, some times laughter, but mostly it is all about His reverence and peace. Jesus is real and He is here for us. We had blind eyes open, people who have been deaf and many more healing in the last 7 weeks. I know that the Lord is not done in this area, so does Rick and Teresa McKinney the pastors of New Hope Recovery Ranch. There are many disappointed people in the area, but God always has a reason for things to happen. We trust in Him and Him alone to what He wants done in our lives. It is just so beautiful to be with Him all the time in His peace and His Glory. I just pray like Paul prayed that everyone could have this experience with the Lord. It is a freedom that is beyond words.

The more we see, the more it humbles us - Joseph Cicchino
Below are some more of the things that God is doing at New Hope Recovery ranch in Silver Springs NV. Every night God is doing a different work in all of us. The more I let go the more I learn who He is in me. The power and strength of who He is, can not be explained, but you can just sence His presence with you all the time. Every day we get more reports from some of the pastor's who have been coming and how they and their church is changing daily because of what God has been doing to them and through them. This is for all of us to learn what we are to do for our pastors and others in the body of Christ. It is always past Eleven before we start to go home. Most of us would like to stay longer but we do need our rest with this being every day and every night in Him. Jesus is in control and that is what is important. Meagan who has been coming each night after work, she travels almost 50 each night and arrives after 10 p and stays just for a few minutes and then go back the 50 miles. She was an alcoholic who has been set free in the last 3 weeks. Had no relationship with her mother and now they are like best friends. Both of them have received a major healing in the Lord. God is so real when you get out of the way and let Him be who He wants to be in us. The victory is His not ours. Much more but, all we want to do is give God the Glory and what He is doing in us and through us. This is all based on Scripture and that is what is important. It is all about the word and the spirit.

Last night I got to witness one of Gods most amazing interventions! We had some old friends come all the way from Half Moon Bay Ca. to visit on their way home from vacation. As you know, the tent is up and running and they had some idea but no clue as to what was going on inside this tent. My friends are relatively new Christians and have been attending traditional church services in HMB regularly. When they came into the tent my friend told me that his first thought was that what he was experiencing was crazy. But as the meeting progressed the Spirit began to touch him and his wife both. Joe picked up on the spirits that were going through him and actually asked him up for prayer. He was kinda reluctant at first. And Joe went relatively easy on him and just let the Spirit work and my gosh did He work! He went up for prayer a little later and of course Joe read his mail again and he prayed that root would be pulled out of him that was holding him back and hindering his deeper relationship with the Lord. When Joe pushed on his stomach and pulled his hand back quickly, he fell to the ground and began to weep. All those tears of cleansing, washing away years of pain that accumulated. When he finally got up off of the floor, I asked him if he would like to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and he said he certainly did. God, through Joe had broken up some of that rocky, thorn-infested ground that so many of us are made up of. We prayed over him to receive the baptism and he received the gift. What a wonderful sight! I know my friend will never be the same, then his wife experienced almost the same thing with Joe and she also asked that the umbilical cord be cut as did her husband. That ground too was ready to receive the fresh rain of the Spirit and she received the precious baptism of my precious Holy Spirit. It is so cool to see people that just stop by for a short visit have their lives entirely changed and set free. When they left here this morning they had such a precious look on their faces and I could almost see the fires of the Spirit burning in their hearts. They can't wait to get home and witness what had happened to them with Joe Cicchino in this little red tent in Silver Springs, Nevada. I believe this place is truly becoming what the Lord told me in the beginning when we moved here-to be "redemption springs". (Silver stands for redemption in the Bible). What an awesome night! When the umbilical cords were cut from all the people that had that desire, the fires of God roared through that tent and through their hearts. Last night the healing anointing was flowing like a river of fresh cream. If you get a chance to come and enter in you will be so very glad you did and so will our precious Lord and Holy Spirit. The Father must be smiling at the prayers, healing, and deliverances that are taking place inside this red and white tabernacle of meeting. God bless.

Wow, another awesome night last night. God continues to thrill me with what He is doing and what He ministers through Joe. The Lord led Joe and Ellen to minister about cutting the umbilical cord with loved ones in our lives. You know the umbilical cord gives life to those it is attached to and this isn't just moms and children. This could be even a controlling parent or sibling from the grave or living moms and dads or other loved ones. When this was ministered to people the people just started streaming up for prayer and Rick and Joe laid hands on their heads and Ellen and I "cut the cord" in the spirit at the same time and the Lord set His precious people FREE last night. Is. 61 speaks of setting the captives free and I am seeing that we are captive in so many ways. My middle son came to me a few weeks ago and told me that we needed to cut the umbilical cord between us and when he said it I actually felt something in my stomach and I got scared but then I walked away and prayed about it and said "God this is something I need to be willing to do for him so give me the strength and tell me how". The Lord gave me the words and I walked back over to my son and in the spirit we cut the cord. So much happens in the Spirit that we don't understand but when the Lord shows us something and we are just willing to trust and obey then He brings the results. Ben and I now have a much better relationship than we did because he is turning to the Lord more than me and this allows me the freedom to encourage him to make his own decisions and seek the Lord more. In other words, I am not trying to "fix him" anymore-that is Gods job. So now I just get to love him, be his friend and we have fun now! God is so awesome so as you are reading this if the Lord shows you someone to cut the cord with, JUST DO IT! Don't try to analyze it! COME QUICKLY!!!!!!

Rick and I met her at a Benny Hinn crusade 2 years ago, she came down here a couple of times and got some healing and now God has joined her to this ministry in spirit and she has now moved from Oregon to do whatever she can to help. She is a real blessing and it is awesome to watch God move in her life in the last 2 years since we met her. Here's her testimony.
If only I had the words to tell you what a blessing the revival has been for me in so many areas of my life. I've only been attending the tent revival meetings for one and a half weeks. God is moving in powerful ways. Healing of deep seated hurts from early childhood through adult years. 60 plus years. Now there is peace in this area. I've learned that all I need to say when the devil tries to push them into my mind and face is to say devil get behind me. Jesus took these hurts so many years ago on the cross. And I do not need to carry them.
I also was able to forgive my parents and brothers and sisters. And not to carry their guilt, that they put upon me. These are NOT mine to carry. I now can see and understand its their guilt and they need to contend with it. And let God forgive them and take their guilt from them. What a wonderful relief this is for me.
I'm learning tools and Bible principles about how to deal in these areas of my life. This does not mean I've got it all pulled together. And that problems will never arise again. It means I'm learning how to handle things in the way that Jesus wants me to. In ways that help me grow in Jesus. And NOT bring division and hurts both to myself and others.
